Polish District - community is growing!
Hello everyone!
The Polish community of Guild Wars players is growing. On every town and outpost I met my nationals on English-1 etc.
The point is that nationals want to speak in their native language, but we don't have our Polish district.
Other (english) players get annoyed of non-english talks on English district.
I was flamed and called "n00b" many times on English-1 only for that I am speaking my NATIVE language!
ArenaNet - please add POLISH DISTRICTS in the nearest update!
It's so simple feature to add for you and it could drastically improve gameplay for just everyone!
Please consider this in your further updates!
Best regards
uFoQ

Being abused for speaking your native language should not be tolerated! You have as much right as anyone else to play on whichever district you want, nowhere is there a requirement to speak the language the district is designed for, especially if you don't have your own district. I suppose reporting the player(s) would be the only option.

On the other hand, the European language districts have been created specifically so that players don't need to sift through tons of chat that they don't understand. Seen in that light, it's only common decency to at least try to stick to English in the English districts. For example, there are really a lot of Dutch players on the European servers, and all of them (as far I have noticed) chat in English in the English districts.

I don't speak polish, nor do I play on Euro server (anymore) but I second this request because there's obviously a demand for it and it would likely make it far easier for you and other polish people to find compatable teamates.

BrokenSymmetry - yea, but you didn' understand me. i've said that WE WANT TO TALK POLISH. I think ditchs will be happy if there will be Dutch District too.
We just want to have own district, where it will be easier to find a teammates or form a guild etc.
"it would likely make it far easier for you and other polish people to find compatable teamates."
yeah! it's the point!
thanx for answers!

I was not born in Poland, never been there, but my family background is Polish and I would say that if there is a demand (which I see there is) then make it happen. I would hope as the game gets more "mature" that more native language districts would form. I just wish that I knew how to speak any other language than American English.

I'd imagine that adding districts would become a burden. After polish people get one, then swedes, czechs, finns and scotsmen would want their own too. I think people should speak english whenever possible (although it's not my native language either). Not to mention that if gamers are split between gazillion districts, it's going to be a pain to LFG.

Demand creates the necessity. I am sure that ANet will look at the number of connections being made from Poland. I would suspect that there is some sort of 'magic' number that needs to be reached before they will create a server for a specific language group.
The most common worldwide languages: English, Spanish, German, French and then the Asian languages, Chinese, Japanese, Korean (in gaming especially). Those servers are there because those are "universal".

Bah, I see no problem with hearing polish on an English district. Just don't expect me to understand, is all. We should be an international community anyway, so why persecute another person just because he/she is speaking in a different language? On another note, however, why are the international districts so bloody empty?!
